Welcome to Spring House Surgery

The surgery was originally that of Dr E Idris Williams and Dr Frances M Bennett who moved to these premises in 1969 from the opposite side of Chorley Old Road (where the bank is now situated). They were joined by Dr P A Saul in 1972 as junior partner and Dr Rodgers as part-time GP in 1977. Both Dr Williams and Dr Bennett left the practice within 12 months of each other and in 1980 Dr Saul became senior partner, Dr Rodgers became a full-time partner and they were joined by Dr Ian James in 1980 and also Dr J Priest in 1990. Dr Rodgers retired in 1996. After a spell as a locum, Dr Sidat joined us in 1997 followed by Dr Walsh in 1999. Drs Walsh and Priest have since left the practice. Dr Parveen joined us in 2004 and left in 2008 to be replaced by Dr M A Majid. The latest addition to the practice is Dr CBT Kelly, our lady doctor.
